Astronomix is a modular, live-cd GNU/Linux distro based on both [http://www.debian.org Debian] and [http://www.morphix.org Morphix], with astronomy in mind.
This mean that you can download the iso image, burn it on you cd writer, and just reboot your computer without installing it.

== Helping Astronomix ==

Of course, any help is accepted, even for coding, integration, graphics, and others parts of the developement of astronomix.
But now i need help for this site, i can write in both english and italian, but i won't to do the work twice, so, if anyone can work on the translation, both from english to italian or from italian to english it's ok for me, i would be very happy to receive help!

There are very huge works to do on this wiki, write docs, faqs, and so many other things... and i want to have a fully functional release very soon!
